Actually jin has massive insomnia due to how much he used to do drugs and Mathew wanted to protect him so he would give him sedatives so that he'd be able to sleep alot. It's definitely not consented cause jin would've never agreed to that and Mathew took it too far. That's why jin always slept so well at Mathew's place
I get why Matthew did it but sedatives count as drugs. Jin hates drugs so the lack of consent when it comes to being given that sedative is bound to lead to massive problems. Not to mention the other guy used to drug him without his consent too. It’s like he can’t escape this:(
