I agree. Total lack of psychological reality. There’s a different series called “otherworldly sword king survival records” where the MC gets trapped in a world where he’s forced to fight monsters for a long time. He doesn’t even fight 24/7. He just fights every single day. The guy is basically losing his mind towards the end of his time there. He’s become so filled with rage, hate, and fear that his mind is unstable. Even after he escapes from that place he’s still mentally unstable. It’s way more realistic.

Who wrote this? Seriously. That dude should have gone insane as that point.
It’s like a person just playing an MMORPG and feeling no pain that the actual character felt, and kept his ration.
I believe he would barely be rational at that point, after all that torture and time.
Sort of going murderous after coming back.
It’s clear that the writer lacks experience, and I’m not saying that he need to suffer to write about sufferance.
It’s that they lack writing experience in the first place, one should start first with something close to them, but even the start, the failure, the most human topic is just skimmed over like a grocery list of misery and failure.
