Maybe they thought the other girl would be with him instead.
Just offering a reason for why ppl could be mad. They probably expected something like Toradora idk. And don't worry about the mangaka. It's doubtful she is aware of this site. If she was she would probably be more upset over ppl reading it for free and not paying for her hard work.
You're missing the point, the mangaka wrote the manga the way it was written intentionally; its one thing to have a negative opinion of the manga and drop it and a whole other thing to like the manga and still threaten to drop the manga because things didn't go your way. I see comments like this the entire comment section and it's saddening. You act like just because we read this manga for free on this site that the mangaka isn't profiting in any way, however this site brings attention to manga that people wouldn't have otherwise read because they didn't want to buy it, when they find a good read some decide to support the mangaka by buying their work. Mangago and it's free manga raises manga awareness and dedicated fans will start buying their works. What do you mean "don't mind the mangaka, she probably doesn't know about this site"? So, by this logic you're telling me that it's fine to leave negative reviews of the manga because the mangaka herself can't see it? There're other people who see this and whether or not they decide to read might be based on the comments they see. People who decide not to read may tell their friends not to read it because it has bad reviews, so on and so forth, it has an impact. A good manga deserves credit regardless of if the mangaka knows of the positive review...
Well..yeah. It's ok. It's even fine if she does see it. Bad or good people can leave their reviews, thoughts, comments, etc as they like.
You're just talking around the point. I realize that people can physically leave whatever reviews they like, that isn't the point and if you have nothing better to say other than to argue something so obvious then why are you still even doing this? Now that it's been established that people can physically type a review as they like, because for some reason that's where you took this, the real point we had been discussing is that its not OK for someone to talk of dropping a manga for such a ridiculous reason in the comments section because other people see that and give it bad publicity.
In a nutshell: Opinions I don't like or consider ridiculous shouldn't be posted. It's not right. Stop it guys! Please..
..Good luck with that..especially on this site.. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
That sounds more dickish than I intended..but basically yeah. Not happening.
This isn't about my personal opinion, i believe it'd be the general consensus that threatening to drop a manga because the pair you wanted didn't end up together is ridiculous as most people would continue to read on and enjoy the story for how it was written. This is another example of you diverging from the subject, we hadn't been talking about my personal opinion. Also, it only sounded as dickish as you intended it to because rather than just moving on you feel the need to get in a parting jab. I mean, unless you can bring some kind of counter argument forth... something other than saying "that's your opinion!".
(different anonymous person here) I work in customer service and get customers all the time telling me how ridiculous such and such rule is, and how we should run our company a certain way...and if we don't, they'll drop us. So I get what you are saying. It's plain silly to say I don't like this because it's not how I think it should be...and then turn around and make it seem like the manga is bad. No, that's not always the case. And there's been plenty of manga where I didn't like the pairing...some I've even stopped reading because I could see the direction it was headed. But I generally choose not to post my opinion about the pairing. Since I know others probably like this pairing.
But on the flipside, there's nothing wrong with expressing your opinion on why you are discontinuing a certain manga. Just as I can say "See ya, there's the door. Don't let it hit you on the way out." when they are being silly (unfortunately I can't say that at work, as much as I'd like to)
Yes, i agree that everyone has a right to post their thoughts on the manga. I'm not trying to tell them that they can't post, i just want them to know that i think them saying that they're thinking of dropping the manga because of the pairing is stupid. They posted and i'm just replying so they know i think what they wrote is kind of ridiculous.
If people don't like couple or ship them why are they reading this manga? ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
