Are you playing dumb? Let's see, going on a date and leading on the subordinate chick all in an attempt to make the top jealous and feed his own ego (he had no interest in her)? Ignoring the top and waiting weeks to see if he would contact him, as a test? Getting jealous and sitting by him and begging to be told when to eat again when his behavior didn't get the results he wanted? Hmm, maybe one of those things... I think its more of a "provoke terrible people and expect terrible consequences" type thing?? Like, theyre both terrible, but the bottom keeps provoking a top that he knows is going to hurt him over and over again, and its just fun to see two terrible people playing tug of war with each other. Especially when the bottom knows he cant beat the top in terms of cruelty or crazy, but keeps trying to play the same game with him expecting different results. Idk if that's how OP is thinking, but that's 1000% how I see it. Its what makes it so entertaining.

The top isn't equally ridiculous whatsoever though. He was always respectful at work, he's not trying to make the bottom jealous, his personality is very understanding and calm. He handles things with a weird grace even when he's shady and I like that. He's the ice to the bottoms fire, and the bottom has a shitty and fiery personality with a superiority complex. I don't really care if you don't like me pointing out that the bottom has a shitty personality when he's being a dick every chapter, or lashing out in front of everyone (lunch, multiple times calling him a drunk in front of coworkers, ect) or provoke the top. Just because I mention what's in front of me and happening currently it doesn't mean the top is magically made into an innocent saint. Top isn't being shitty rn, he even let him do whatever he wanted, even go on the date instead of doing the psycho possessive top thing, ect. So when he's shitty again maybe I'll complain. But don't play dumb and pretend it's okay for the bottom to have a crap personality.
