I hate that it's slowly winning me over. I can't stand Jaekyung but he's actively trying to be better and the fact that Kim Dan is so uncomfortable with it makes it feel so realistic. Kim Dan has no idea what is going on while Jaekyung is scrambling to figure out how a healthy relationship is supposed to work and it really feels like two ppl that have a lot of mental growth to complete. I was reading the backstory like "I'm not just gonna start liking Jaekyung becuz he's got a tragic backstory! That doesnt excuse the terrible things he's done," but now the author is actively showing character growth and Jaekyung is really understanding the extent of Kim Dan's damage and feeling guilt and regret over the way he treated him. It doesnt excuse what he did, but it means that, even if he hasn't admitted it out loud, he recognizes the harm he's caused and wants to do whatever he can to fix it, and honestly? More than most ppl would b willing to do, gotta give him props for that

AND NOW ONLY ONE OF THEM IS TORTURED BY THEIR PAST WHEN THEY COULDVE SUPPORTED EACH OTHER IN A SPECIAL WAY THAT ONLY THE TWO OF THEM COULD UNDERSTAND?!?!?!?!?!
