AND NOW ONLY ONE OF THEM IS TORTURED BY THEIR PAST WHEN THEY COULDVE SUPPORTED EACH OTHER IN A SPECIAL WAY THAT ONLY THE TWO OF THEM COULD UNDERSTAND?!?!?!?!?! I hate that it's slowly winning me over. I can't stand Jaekyung but he's actively trying to be better and the fact that Kim Dan is so uncomfortable with it makes it feel so realistic. Kim Dan has no idea what is going on while Jaekyung is scrambling to figure out how a healthy relationship is supposed to work and it really feels like two ppl that have a lot of mental growth to complete. I was reading the backstory like "I'm not just gonna start liking Jaekyung becuz he's got a tragic backstory! That doesnt excuse the terrible things he's done," but now the author is actively showing character growth and Jaekyung is really understanding the extent of Kim Dan's damage and feeling guilt and regret over the way he treated him. It doesnt excuse what he did, but it means that, even if he hasn't admitted it out loud, he recognizes the harm he's caused and wants to do whatever he can to fix it, and honestly? More than most ppl would b willing to do, gotta give him props for that

he's so lovey dovey w his bf that u can forget that he's a big scary guy who literally beats ppl up for a living. it's so nice getting to see him b quietly aggressive w blonde faguette over here, especially knowing that if they decided to fight geonwoo wouldn't even let bro make a fist, much less actually punch him. like, it's actually so satisfying to read, more geonwoo away from his bf pls. actually just more geonwoo, that man has my whole heart and soul wrapped around his calloused lil pinkie finger.

How do you get invited out by a guy that has ALREADY CONFESSED HIS FEELINGS TO U and not realize this would make ur kind-of boyfriend a little bit uncomfortable?? And MAYBE, considering u guys were just talking about open communication, that a heads-up MIGHT b a good idea???? Especially after he WARNED U that the guy liked u and was trying to hook up with u????? AND THEN UR UPSET WHEN U LITERALLY SET URSELF UP FOR FAILURE?!?!??!?!

Props to Geonwoo for handling it as maturely as he did, especially considering this is his first relationship. He expressed the issue he had about the lack of communication, stated that he wasn't in a good mental headspace to continue talking about it, expressed some doubts about Hajin's commitment issues and his dedication to their growing relationship, and left to give himself some space from the whole situation. No yelling, minimal confrontation frankly. And Geonwoo had every right to be pissed, plus Hajin is being unbelievably stupid in regards to Joo-an to a point that is ridiculous considering his romantic experience, but Geonwoo is so considerate about it despite his obvious hurt feelings. Personally I would've been so petty and cruel about it, good for him for being a better person than me.
