You're not the only one. I'm an artist too. From my perspective, I think the artist have an 'okay' understanding of anatomy because the postures are rigid, there's no gestures.
You can see it from their stroke, it's very 'edgy', 'straight', I think it's a habit at this point. The artist struggles to create soft strokes to create organic shapes.
I don't know the name of this art style but a lot of artist who draw this way seems to fall for the idea of making everything look perfect that it looks lifeless.
