I gave it another read. Still heartbreaking. Still don't know why other people in the comments view this as BL. Simply put, the main character idolized the person he thought of as a friend, and the other person didn't really care about him at all. His friendliness toward the main character was little more than a performance... This is unrequited *friendship* - nothing in the text suggests that any romantic feelings were involved

Not sure why this is marked as shounen ai. Anyways, this was good. It's too bad the friendship was one-sided in the end. Hae-in was basically referring to himself when he said you shouldn't expect anything from your "friends"...
