Yes he(lelouch) did. In the 2nd season he was killed by suzaku? Forgot other dudes name. And remember lelouch had planned to be the enemy and that he had planned for suzaku to kill him while dressed as zero. To make zero a hero that unites the kingdom and lelouch the villanous king who kills innoucents.
Season threes been announced and it's confirmed that Lelouch will be a main character. The most popular theory at the moment is that Lelouch has Charles code and therefore managed to have both code from Charles and geass from C2, allowing code geass. Honestly I liked it more when I thought he had died but the animation studio obviously needs to make more money.
Wat! Omg i just looked it up and ur right. I liked when he died better too though. It just seemed so fitting for a chaacter such as him, i even liked that he died being seen as evil and in front of nanalee. But thats okayl! Thx u just made my day. Lelouch is like bae to me and im so looking foward to it.
