I usually love this author's works but for some reason I wasnt feeling this one. I didn't rlly like the seme all that much. He was kinda too frivolous and too forceful. I'm fine with dubious consent in yaoi(its so reoocurent that I had to get used to it) but seeing the seme just use the uke, not cause he particularly seemed to like him or anything, but like just cause he was the there and he was "cute", was uncomfortable. It felt so sudden and just weird and stiff. Idk, it's not up to par with her other works, especially when i know how good she is with characters and fluff.
So I know that the webtoon craze has been going pretty hard for a while now, but I was just wondering what y'all actually prefer: webtoons(also colored comics in general) or the traditional black and white manga? For me, I prefer the traditional cause I really like the details and the lines. I still like webtoons and read them, but in terms of visual preference and setup I like black and white mangas more. Tell me, what yall think?
I like and read both webtoons and mangas. But I really prefer mangas. The quality and the details in the artwork set the mangas apart, for me. Also, I feel that, in many webtoons, the ending is rushed and/or we are left with loose ends. Maybe that, because mangakas have editors, it happens less frequently in mangas?... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Definitely traditional! But ofc I also read webtoons. I think mangas took more effort than webtoons (i also read webtoons so please dont hit me) and the quality and art is so much more! Also their emotions, I feel like mangas translate the emotions of characters more vividly. The characters too I feel are more distinct in manga (I mean their design). It's sad how I think I see less manga nowadays especially in the home page of mangago. Also, I posted a question before regarding manga reading apps and they seem to be scarcer these days as opposed to the webcomic apps. :(
I agree that's kinda why I brought this up. I feel like less manga are getting translated in favor of webtoons, which is why we're seeing less on mangago and less manga reading apps in favor of webtoons. I know this because I regularly check the new releases page bc that's where I have to go to look for alot of new manga now since the home page mostly has new webtoons(and for some reason smut lately? Idk) Which is ok since I like webtoons too, but because I do actually prefer mangas its a bit disappointing less are being translated. Welp.
I agree and perhaps due to the amount they can fit on one page(webtoons fit sometimes one whole image on a page where a manga would have several panels) so a lot of stories feel short(in terms of chapter length) and abnormally fast in terms of developments and endings. It's like they just didn't have enough room. I will say however, that all the extra chapters that most webtoons have are an added bonus however.
I'm surprised to find this reason lol but I can relate. When webtoons first came out, I couldn't read them cause my eyes are kinda sensitive and the bright colors just gave me a headache. In comparison, I think the shades of blacks and whites and Grey's are more calming on the eyes(to me). And so I flow with manga stories better.
So the manga is abt one dude(the uke) who went to his friends house(seme) while drunk and ends up cleaning the guys room cause its filthy. They have suffocation sex whenever he comes over to clean. Basically the seme chokes the uke whenever they have sex(uke likes it) i cant remember the title but thats the plot. Help please

^Might find it in this tag.
Honestly where's the harem tag for this? Almost had me tricked bc the first book before this was so cute and heartwarming. Honestly there was no point in adding this many female leads it doesnt even fit the tone of the story.
