Idk if its problematic but chronic avoident and indecisive MCs is really popular in romance genre whether its lgbt or straight. Like you will get them 7/10 times whether its a girl or guy MC. I was shocked. I kept glancing around , as if my mom would suddenly walk in on me. I wasn't horny, but I was extremely curious and thought the art was extremely beautiful. My first anime was Girls Bravo. I'd been at a friends house flipping through Netflix. We'd just stumbled past the cover of Ouran Highschool(which we had back then studiously avoided because it looked like a gay cartoon). Then we turned on girls bravo and I was mesmerized.
