The whole situation with the adoptive mother pisses me off so much, his feelings of guilt and the attachment he feels towards that woman clouded his judgement as a man that’s supposed to uphold the law and see that it’s followed it the dot. He chose to cover up everything and blame the victim in all of this, a child at the time. And Hee-seo, he’s unstable, he’s been unstable the whole time, I don’t get why no one got him a fucking therapist the moment he got out from the abusive foster parents’ home. I know he’ll have to pay for what he’s done in the future, but it’s frustrating seeing how this could have been avoided. I remember in one of the first chapters someone wondered how not a single adult helped him during his life, every single adult failed him, and now that he’s an adult himself, he keeps digging himself deeper into this whole mess. And the fuckass stepbrother idgaf about his crush tbh, sorry for the long rant.
