Wait, from what I understand, there are three stories: 1) the tale of the blonde twins, 2) the story of Shao and Dao, and 3) the main timeline where the king grows up with his curly-haired brother, meets the queen, and is eventually assassinated by Shao. What I don't get is how stories 1 and 3 connect. sorry if I sound rude, I'm a little confused by this amazing manga (⌒▽⌒)°•
Maybe they are the twins from the queen and Shao ? They said to the king's brother that the queen will have twins. But for now I don't understand why she has white hair in the scenery with the king and Shao and in the past (newest chapter) her hair is black. Is it the same character ?

Magrev and the Moonlight King are technically the first people to create the timeline of the story. Then Dao, who is pretending to be Shao comes in later as the kings attendant. Eventually sleeps with the Queen Olga, who then gets pregnant with twins (who are most likely Dao's since the King seems to be sterile). Those twins will probably become Ardalte and Adolte (who start the story in the manga)...
