But seeing how young the twins were when they found each other. It beat my first idea. I assume thus, adolte and adalte are the king's children (or dao's, alias name Shao). The king who appears from ch3 on out.
The king (who I chall just call K) has a mother who was married to a Han man. A clan that Shao comes from. A king took that woman from her husband, raped her which made K. She eventually is executed for desiring her old husband back and hating the king. K eventually grows up but his father filthied Dovy in front of K. So K does the same to Margrev. K lets his soldiers rape a woman squadron because he can.
K lets Dao sleep with his wife. K refers to Dao as mongol. K is a piece of shit in short. Cursed king, lol. It's just generational trauma handed down by one prissy ass bitch after the other prissy ass bitch. Dao eventually began to poison the king after it is known that Olga is pregnant with twins. Margrev knows about it. K and Dao have somewhat of a thinly veiled homoerotism going on.
But i believe that Margrev knew about the brothers' suffering at each other's hands, so threw one of the born twins in the dungeon and kept the other with the royal court. Not gonna lie, I liked my 1st idea.
Where purple lived through misery and became a miserable person. Then he found himself a memory of his mother, aka his twin, ran away with him. But blue couldn't fit with them so left his brother, woman and their child. Eventually becoming a good king.
