no. he pretended to cheat for attention. he explained because heesu was trying so hard to get the homobobe dad's approval, he felt lonely, so he pretended to cheat so that heesu would give him attention again. but instead of stopping when it didn't work, basically he's a retard and kept up the act and ended up actually leaving for real. he comes back later of course to explain this but at that point nobody likes him anymore except for heesu who somehow still gave him a second chance. the whole story is a mess but imo dont take it too seriously. the soap opera is good for a laugh.
