I get the irk for the age gap especially with their relation. I skip the sexy scene since it made me uncomfortable but he always stated that he is not a son of her so I guess its okay in Japanesse standard? (￣∇￣")
Btw, she is 24 yo. When he was 12, he said 4 years gonna be okay for them to married and in 4 years she'll be 28yo makes her 24 yo when he is 12yo.

She was 22, not 28 (they have a 10 year diff) but I get what you mean.
Personally, I decided to turn my brain off to think about such things as long as I like the rest of the story (on the other hand, if I don't like the rest of the story I very much put emphasis on it as a reason to dislike the story. Double standards I know)
[Ps. This is only in case for fiction. I do not approve of such a age gap in real life, I mean 10 years gap is okay if they're both adults and willing but not as minors (not even young adults like 19)]
