Have u ever seen that ad on the perspective of an autistic child and everything was overwhelming. Thats probably how the ML feels after seeing sm ppl constantly. Its why he used to be so withdrawn and refused to make eyecontact. Constantly overanalyzing ppl to make sure you dont get on their bad side is a common trait autistic ppl do.
This part is a bit more debatable but its just my opinion:
ppl often mistake autism for narcissism. So him setting clear boundaries that get crossed even once would make him rlly upset. Its no surprise he threatens to quit after what other ppl would call a "minor inconvenience". They also mistake autism for bpd. So him constantly flipping back and forth from happy to reclusive might make ppl think he got sum in the head lol.
Obv without the curse he probably wouldnt be a good rep for autism, but im js sharing my thoughts.
There's many way someone can experience autism, I relate to this character because he has similar "problems" to me: like not picking up social clues, having difficulties reading someone elses intentions and picking on what they mean, having problem hiding my expression, being blunt, ect. That's what I picked by reading this manhua! It's only my opinion so if anyone is offended by that, that's not my intention I'm sorry

That'll never be confirmed, cause it's not real. There are some things you can interpret that way, but there are completely unrelated explanations for why he acts the way he does.
