I love reading everyone's comments about this BL. As someone who has read a lot of toxic BL, I can hardly fathom the author's mental health. This story feels very tame to me. Honestly, I usually dislike 90% of the seme's trashy attitude and the uke's doormat personality in other BL stories. Ironically enough, I find myself rooting for the fluffy-headed male lead in this story, as well as the main character. I really like their dynamics, and it's rare to find this kind of connection in an otherwise oversaturated market of toxic and problematic BLs.

Lmao you're acting like they're not gonna end up together even though he raped him. This is also toxic so stop trying to be on a moral high ground when you're enjoying this story, hypocrite.

@Meruemshu I believe there was a misunderstanding regarding my earlier comments. You are correct that the main leads (ML and MC) are ultimately the focus of the story, especially since they are featured on the cover. However, I am unsure why you inferred that I have "high morals." As I mentioned previously, this particular Boys' Love (BL) story is quite tame compared to others in the genre. I approach these narratives with an open mind and can easily distinguish between fiction and reality.

In real life, I would never justify sexual assault (SA), and I question whether we can genuinely believe that a gangster could be a true gentleman or a knight in shining armor. It's essential for readers to interpret a story based on their understanding of the narrative. Given that this is a work of fiction, I find it relatively mild. I have read much more toxic BL stories, such as "Leg That Won't Walk," and when comparing the gangster ML in this story to those characters, I feel this one is definitely tamer.

The early chapters of this BL gave many of us hope that the ML might be a "green flag." That's why it's hard to move past the SA scenes; however, we must remember that he is introduced as a gangster, which clearly suggests we are in for some "red flags" unless there is a significant plot twist that alters his character. For now, I am able to enjoy the dynamics between the characters as they are.

Going back to my earlier comments, I can overlook the SA scenes because I have experienced much worse and more vile plots in other stories. It’s still early in the narrative, and my enjoyment could shift depending on how the story unfolds in later chapters. I might end up getting bored and choose to drop it, but for now, I remain hopeful for reconciliation and a good ending.

i like how the seme has at least common sense as to why the uke is avoiding him and shit, while the uke developed a trauma after seeing a guy get murdered by his crush– and raped him after. its got its own realistic thing to it
