Sociopathy and Psychopathy are actually different and reversed.

Sociopathy is the fact that the person does feel emotions but would not give a shit to everyone, they're mostly the ones with explosive angers (as far as I know, I'm not a psychologist yet)

Psychopathy is the lack of emotions yet will try to or not and thus would be oftentimes be either serial killers or just people who are stoic

So when somebody say "you psycho!" They're going for the serial killer bit of the psychopathy

What the right thing you can say is "you sociopath!" But you do you on this info, might be misinformed somewhere but there is a difference.

Same way as intrusive and impulsive thoughts are different

Intrusive thoughts are what you see in prison/jail/abused homes, etc.

Impulsive is dying your hair pink or jump to a electric fence and hope you don't get electrified

Again, all what I have information abt, don't know if its accurate

Sociopaths and psychopaths are actually differentiated from perceived development of behaviors but are functionally the same. Sociopaths have been shaped by something that has happened to them (i.e. the socio- part of the term) like abuse, general trauma, etc while "psychopaths" are people who have been noted to exhibit those key behaviors from birth. Both are functionally Antisocial Personality disorder, it just depends on when it was developed.
