it was always about healing and growth
Being that close to the person who did this to you is disrespectful to yourself. I'm not saying they should have been enemies by the end of the book. But their paths should have diverged at some point.
I never understood how this book evolved from being full of mistakes, regrets, grudges, and revenge to being close to our enemy who ruined our lives. I say this because the book started like a bomb. The ending is a total disappointment. She drinks with the girl who ruined his high school life and the cherry on the top she even kisses her —that's all bullsht.
