When you give a provacative opinion, you should be prepared for others to dislike it and not preemptively jump down people's throats for disagreeing with it. Personally, I find them precious and amazing together. Their chemistry works for me

Personally, I agree with you. I had high expectations because I liked the start very much, but in the end I felt very disappointed for the same reasons as yours.

I am not blaming you or juming on you i am just curious what did you find wrong in their chemistry? Is it about only the sex scenes or is there something else to it ?

I agree, actually. Even though I still like them, I kinda wish Yamato was a bit more anxious and insecure about their relationship, so that it wasn't just Hirokawa... That he acted either more loving or more tsundere... Like for example when he found him he could've said sth like "where the heck have you been?! I've been searching all over for you! Don't make me worry so much, you baka".

@stinka dear I don't hve any problems with disliking ...we all have are own tastes and preferences and also our own perspective(as u can see if there are 11 dislikes there are also 10 likes so ppl do agree with me )...what I meant was ppl shouldn't comment bashing me for not liking their chemistry and then try to push their opinions down my throat .....

@sakata no darling it's not just about the sex...infact if the story line is good it hardly becomes my concern ....but u see I m not much into conventional yaoi ...and if u judge carefully the plot of this manga is really weak ..its all about a tsundere uke being oblivious to the semes affection in the beginning and then falling for him eventually ..now all he does is persistently chase after the seme while the latter tries to avoid him to prevent his libido from striking the uke ...that's all that is there to the story with some mild complications here and there ....Also as u can see most of the yaois have more or less the same clichéd plot ...though sometimes it works for me too...but on the whole its more like a boy version of shoujo mangas with the protagonist normally acting as substitutes to females ...I like watching two men getting into action rather than a girl in disguise of a man kinda traits ....PS: There are many great yaoi out there though but this one is definitely not one of them ..If this works for u then its fine ...Nobody is actually right on wrong (I mean u can be relatively right/wrong but not completely )... it finally zeroes down to our taste/perspectives regarding things....Also m an actress.... we are constantly thrown scripts to analyze the plot and characters maybe my judgments come from this bad habit of mine XDDDDDDD......anyways fellow fujoshi hug to u (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I doubt it, cause it's a frequent line in manga and characters never take it that way. Perhaps, if Hirokawa took it 100% literally... but usually in manga when someone says this line it gives the other partner a stronger sense that their lover deeply cares.

To me, it's probably not about the story per se, but about how the emotional mindsets of these two are being delivered... It's like there's something missing somewhere.
On the other hand, lol, I feel like we've been reading opposite stories: that this manga was more about the seme not realizing the uke's affection as the reason why the uke stalked him and bullied his childhood friend in order to get his attention... then about how after they both admit their feelings and become a couple, once someone else hints at their relationship becoming sexual, the uke gets all flustered and starts avoiding the seme due to feeling scared and shy... then about how they are solving the uke's family situation... Lol, never mind, I just found it amusing how we seemed to interpret it in completely opposite directions...

I'll exemplify ur statement with an example :
take for instance the stockholm syndrome yaois wherin the fangirls agree to a plot wherein the uke is raped by the seme against his wishes... they defend the seme and say that the uke actually wanted it ...And when someone points out to the rape , a fangirl claims : "I doubt it, cause it's a frequent line in manga and characters never take it that way." ....(but this interpretation is absolutely correct on the fangirls part because that's how mangaka wants it to be portrayed)
....not saying u r one of those ...infact in this mangas context u r absolutely right in saying so because that's how their relationship is supposed to be viewed ...but then its for this same exact cliché/unrealistic portrayal of relationship and plot that I dislike their chemistry so much .... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

It's completely different. That line is mostly used to express worry about their significant other's safety, not to express uncontrollable desire that justifies self-entitled rapist actions over that significant other. Worry about their safety is a legitimate form of care, even among non-lovers, whereas uncontrollable desire and self-justified entitled rape are certainly not. There's a great difference between rape justification in yaoi and the use of this particular line: the first one is the justification of an act (and if you take it from certain perspectives, not just of any act but of a criminal act) and the other is just a line said at the spur of the moment, whose only risk is that it may temporarily hurt the other partner's feelings if he/she takes it solely as a reprimand and doesn't notice the subtext of worry and legitimate care for them (as opposed to a yaoi rapists' illegitimate care for them).
I also don't think the rape justification and the tsundere behavior have anything at all in common: most readers define yaoi rapists as *YAN*dere characters, they never interpret them as *TSUN*dere characters (when they do, it's because they probably don't understand well what being a tsundere really means).

@anonymous totally mate I was viewing it from the ukes perspectives...was just trying to provide an example by aligning it with the storyline of the typical yaoi works which runs on ukes perspective ...like how in the beginning he didn't know that even the seme liked him back and when he realizes of the latters affection he goes into those cliché phases of avoidance , over persistence etc ..while the seme acts all recluse and stuff (on semes part though this works in manga in real life asking someone to just leave them be , be at work or anywhere as well as acting aloof even if u have a good will behind it wouldn't work ...plus the ukes denseness is not even laughable ...I hate it when ukes are potrayed as dumb and persistently work in attaining semes affections while the semes (though love their ukes)act all recluse and arrogant towards them .....YOUR interpretation id definitely th actual thing but I was just proving how the overly used same plots have gotten me weary of their relationships...

Ah, sorry, now I do see what you were trying to say. Yeah, both that worry-wart line and the rape justification are overused manga clichés. And you're right, manga stories are full with them and they do get repetitive after a while, even those you like. However, they do make it a lot easier and quicker to get the gist of a manga (once you get used to them you learn to recognize them real quick seconds after beginning a new story), and I think that's why many readers choose to read these cliché manga stories instead of longer manga stories, or even romance novels: because it's quicker, lol. But it does have that one disadvantage that you mentioned.
On the other hand, sorry mate, I'm one of the few people on this earth who still don't own a facebook account.
