i don’t think she realised just how messed up that’ll make him, i’m pretty sure she assumed he would be sad for a bit and then move on. that’s how most characters think when they break up with someone anyways lollll but i do agree with you, her leaving him in such a horrible way with the “it’ll make him sad if i die” is such a shitty thing to do
i can’t- the mom is just so dumb. she left the dad so he wouldn’t get sad bc she’d die soon but breaking up with him and making him hate her led to the same result not to mention, it pisses me off how she knows that her child would get mistreated by her relatives for being a hybrid yet she still decided to leave mc with them? atp wouldn’t it better if she had just stayed with the dad and her daughter didn’t get mistreated? despite that, the story’s rlly good
