Ive always kinda had a bit of a silly pet peeve when it comes to how people potray the children of another character in the same story like so many times i see a daughter being an exact copy-paste of the mother or a father and son being the exact same too (for some reason, not often does a daughter look exactly like her father or a son like his mother)
but this is a nice in between in which you can clearly tell the characters receive traits from each parent [and yk actually look like a separate entity rather than just a chibi or genderswapped version of a parent]
its nice that even then tho you can still see which parent they do resemble more without being straight up copies; like jayna looking more like her mother but NOT an exact replica either, and rosian [likely?] looking more like his father since he doesnt rlly seem to resemble the empress yet he still has her eyes
