My theory is that the author needed a break from the main story so they gave a somewhat decent conclusion and jumped to side stories just to be able to draw about something else. And during that time, they were able to plan out a good way to properly end the series. But since there were already 3 side stories and they technically ended the main story, they just labeled season 4 as side story 4 for a proper epilogue arc.
At least that’s what I think ╮(￣▽￣)╭.
Either way I like that they did at least that, because people can draw out their own head canons and ignore the ending of the main story. Or they can think of the other side stories as the ending they liked more. Either way, everyone got at least something they could like
tbh when that whole rape and kidnapping thing happened, it was a complete 180 from how he usually acted so i think the author didn’t want that for the ending, like me personally i thought it was stupid so i think they realized in the extras it was stupid too
I think they always knew it was stupid, because both in the final season and in the side stories when they mention the event of the captivity they say it in a negative way.
Damn we really made it here. This comic has done a full 180 and I love it. Honestly why are the side stories so much better than the main story. Did the author have a change of heart?
