For me it depends on how the author writes it, there are times where I genuinely hate any hs stuff but if it invokes nostalgia n a takes me back to where I feel like I’m experiencing hs thru the MCs eyes it’s ok. But I prefer reading about adults.
Back when I was a high schooler, I used to love reading teenage stuffs, like everything circles around the highschool genre. Now, I find them hard to read. Maybe because it has something to do with age like things are not as relatable as before.
