well seem I'm the only one who feel that way ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ As I saw the anime before reading the manga, I didn't think the characters were as much flesh out and everything felt so rush. In the 2nd season I loved Debonair and Nina plot, it added so much more to the plot (the manga was a bit boring for me) and I loved the ending more in the anime (except for the no-revealing of the god, that's the only thing I think the anime should not have skip).
Totally late reply but... I love the anime too! It was one of my first animes. I wasnonly able to read the manga a decade and a half later and it was a great read too. I like both the plots of them. My 'complaints' though will include the non-reveal about Mokona, and Umi ending with Clef in the anime coz I ship her so hard for Ascot (so I like the manga's take on this). I like that Presea lives in the manga, but I also like that she died in the anime coz it pushed the girls to mature.
So there, I love both of them...
I watched the anime first. I gotta he honest I thought the manga was moving to fast. The anime I felt had a little more time to do things like the second season between Lantis and Hikaru for example they had spent more time together and it seemed a little more naturally paced when it came to the romance aspect of it. That and i really liked the pink haired chick lol

why can't this made in anime!?!? ヽ(`Д´)ノ
