I started reading this when I was 18 and didn't mind it at all. Now it does make me uncomfortable, but the way the story developed is just too good. Occasionally I just think of the beginning of their relationship and feel bad for them both for various reasons but that won't take away from my personal rating of the overall manga.
Please read further if you haven't, after they are in an established relationship the story progresses in a different and interesting direction.

To be fair, our brain develop fully at the age 25, 21 is still basically a child too but I get the sentiment. The problem with minor + age gap is that we're afraid they'll get swept away by their impulses right? Or get taken advantage on because the brain could be playing a trick on us but in this story context, we both know how they meet, it's rough for both of them too, u can even say they meet too late/too early, but either way I wouldn't be concerned for this context especially with the guardian also present, which is very refreshing honestly!
This story is rated way too high the age gap in the beginning is concerning.
