They weren’t on the same page anymore and needed time to grow as people, especially jinhyeong. Felt like I got shot when song-rik randomly started playing with jinhyeong’s hair and held his face after everything back then, even now after all these years/ changes in their personalities, they’re still so familiar. The way their paths both led to found family omfgomfggggg I hope they’ll reconnect at some point, I think they’ve both come to a point where a reunion would go well. Though they are part of each other’s past, so if that relationship was left alone or they do reunite once but don’t stay connected after that, I’d understand as well. But I hope they do
