I’m ngl although these two are so cute and I love an age gap, this age gap is too much for me and I don’t think I can get over it which sucks bc again I love them but I just feel a bit weird ab it. It’s funny to me how they’re focusing on the gay aspect of this when the actual elephant in the room is that hyeonseon is nearly twice yeoreum’s age I wish they made him early-mid 30s but that’s just me
Why should they make him younger? It's an integral part of the story that he is 40 and starting anew. Literally goes thru the dialemma that you mention it doesn't address, when it specifically addresses the age gap time and time again. You just focused on the smut and now ur complaining

Ik that it's the entire premise, it's just that when I'm 40 I can't imagine seriously considering a mid 20 yr old bc they'd feel like a child to me no matter how much experience or how mature they seem. That's something I can't quite get over personally despite rly liking them both and them meshing so well. That's exactly why I find it funny (not weird or bad, I mean like actually just funny) that although they address the age gap, doesn't feel as significant in the story as it does in my mind compared with being gay. I'm not trying to complain just writing my thoughts, sry if it came across badly. I just recently read this entire manhwa btw my comment doesn't have to do with the recent chapter if that's what you meant by focusing on the smut bc I don't understand what you mean
Bc there's so many bl works where being gay isn't a big deal and it's set in a space where ppl don't rly mind, it's normal or common, or at least it doesn't address unaccepting family and stuff like that on the basis of being gay. But this one is set in a more realistic korean society so ig they would have to tackle that despite the main unique thing about this series not being that but the large age gap if that makes sense

season one is about the age gap.. and season two is about being gay and queer spaces. the author has already established the age gap so now she’s moving to a more integral and important aspects of being gay, and the realties that people have to go through.

the entire plot point is the age gap…..
