That wrap up and farewell was everything I could’ve asked for. They weren’t on the same page anymore and needed time to grow as people, especially jinhyeong. I was sobbing when song-rik randomly started playing with jinhyeong’s hair and held his face after everything and even now after all these years and change in their personalities, they’re still so familiar. The way they’ve both found family and built a good life for themselves is the kindest aftermath to this story from the author. I love this series sm
I hope they’ll reconnect at some point since the timing is good now and they’ve both come to a point where a reunion would go well. Though they are part of each other’s past and if that relationship were left alone/ they reunite once but don’t stay connected after that I’d understand as well. But I hope they do
