People have zero media literacy these days, I swear. Please read an actual book, you need it. Stop carelessly throwing around words like "grooming" and "pedo," you’re just devaluing serious terms by misusing them without actually thinking. He’s not "raising" him, he’s taking care of him. There’s a clear difference. A good example is if your spouse was suddenly turned into a child, would you stop loving them? No, but you’d still look after them.

And the story makes it clear that history will repeat. As the Duke grows up in this new timeline, he’ll struggle with the same conflicting feelings his older self had. That’s exactly why, in the first chapter, the Duke mentions seeing a "ghost" which is a vague memory of meeting his older self who carried those same doubts as Alois got older. And just like before, Alois will eventually make the same wish again in every timeline. It’s a closed loop.
