when your whole life was acting/scamming and got manipulated, you slowly losing emotions like fr. it’s a good thing that he get out of that toxic situation tho also he’s still learning to be a “human” in a new “world” (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
His whole past life was just acting as many others roles except himself, he probably never got the chance to go the school and have friends his age with his background. So its understandable if his emotions are kind of “blank” during his normal daily life self cuz he isn't acting. He kinda reminds me of the character from catch me if you can tho
your frustration is understanding, but we read the same story right? his life was full of scamming, which can emotionally change your attitude. you really do lose your feelings, which his face is like a blank canvas!!
I enjoy the story but it’s hard for me to be invested when the main character has so little substance. His backstory is great but his constant lack of emotion makes him feel like a blank slate. It’s just really hard to root for him when he has no emotion and very little inner monologue
