It was a fake body that was used to escape when she runs away from her family and ML.
But the real Bleria is actually 100% dead and the Dad is aware she’s dead and Mel is fake but is too distressed to accept it.
I only started reading the story cause I thought it was about a world where fl already passed, not whatever is going on rn
