Happy ending! Nope, the king will never let that happen lmao. But basically, this is an old novel so toxic tropes are very present. The bandit guy basically can’t decide anything for himself and will just fall in love with the king. It’s a fun read i think if you don’t use your head to think toxic and obsessive the king is.

He tells mc he just used him cuz he reminded himself of his ex who is the love of his life (the uncle) and then tries to kill him thru sex. It’s not a good read. There are other better novels with toxic mls that are less traumatic as this. Just fyi cuz I saw this comment and I just finished the novel. You really need a strong stomach for it cuz the toxic phases are majority of the book.

Still so sad seeing this not updated. I recommend reading the novel tho if you just want a story with a villain ML with the trope “i’ll burn the world for you” x1000. If i remember correctly he killed a whole clan for the other ML. Lol. It was a fun read.
