Nah cause same. I was thinking exactly that. Like, how is she going to explain not actually growing or going thru puberty? Or is she going to keep creating new potions? And how would she make them? Where is she going to get the ingredients? How would she explain making potions to them as a child?
I'm sure we're supposed to not think but I can't help but question the setting. I can think of half a dozen better alternatives but this ain't it.

Like I keep thinking how is she going to keep this lie up. What’s going to happen when they find out. Will they feel betrayed!!!!
I don’t hate the story. I think I’m just thinking to too much and this is one of those I should turn my brain off for.
Honestly why didn’t the author just make her a young kid like 8-10 years old that run away from the magic tower and is adopted by the duke’s family.
