Yujae doesn't want Hanjun as just a friend. He's extremely possessive. He doesn't like Hanjun making new friends, and he wants Hanjun to be there for him all the time.
And this has been going on since elementary school. He hates sharing Hanjun with anyone else.
Have you at least read the story, or are you just skimming it?
This is the reason why I hate childhood friends to lovers. Imagine just wanting to have a genuine relationship with a friend and they end up liking you—and the friendship will disappear because you don't like them back. I felt sorry for Yujae, he just wants his friend back.
