But that's how most cults work though. It was never about getting Justice for Soorim, It was always about covering up their illicit activities.
Also I don't think Soorim's dad is a good person because Soorim didn't want to associate with her dad
I feel like there could have been a few more chapters to tie things up (for instance, how do their lives change after the cruise? Do they stop being bystanders? Do they remain friends or avoid each other after that?).
And I thought there'd be a lesson to it - like, being a bystander can be nearly as bad as being the actual perpetrator. But I guess not, considering the cult stopped torturing them after they found out how the girl died and only resumed trying to kill them after to cover up their illicit activities.
