That much is obvious. The young generation of readers tend to be shallow and with that a lot of them can't truly comprehend then appreciate well written stories like this.
This is why Korean BL Manhwas are on the rise because most of it are easy to swallow despite the art, script and the overall work being questionable to immaturely done.
True, most manhwas are an insult to actual readers (it lacks pretty much everything), a scam for porn enjoyers (because of the censorship) and a menace for kids' development (it really IS shallow).
Manhwas are a good window of Korean culture and mindset but new generations can't think for themselves and just wolf down whatever shit is shoved down their throats without any questions.
