I don't know that it's "normalized". You choose what to read. There are as many good and healthy comics out there. Or a different kind of darkness. And these are people's imaginations. So you don't have to read it or buy into their imaginations. After all, these are just works of art. You can say: there's an abundance, or that it's "too much" for my liking. But maybe bcz this is an illeg@l site, you run into it more than if you read tamer stories. There are more manhuas with lighter themes too. But again, it's just people's imaginations and what they like. You can create your own healthy, lovey-dovey stories, or read healthy ones.
that is, exactly my point though. ofc there are other stories, because then what else am i reading if not these that i don't like? and yeah as everyone says, this is ficton, clearly, but fiction does affect the way we perceive things. so the more of these normalised abuse in media, or fiction, one consumes, they get desensitized to it. dw, im not looking for an argument, im just saying i won't read it, and im not stopping anyone from reading this. just like everyone is free to say how they like the work, i am free to criticise this as well. anyway aaaa i don't wanna argue :") have a good day!
I get what you're saying but like I said it is what YOU consume. Ppl put plenty of stuff out there I don't like. Horrendous fashion. Horrendous music. And this is a fictional world we're talking about. It's not even real. Consumption is all VOLUNTARY. If fiction "affects how you view the real world" that's sad bcz fiction "shouldn't affect" how the real world is. It's like me going to watch horror movies when I don't like horror movies, then saying, horror movies makes me view the world "in a decaying, gross, morbid, horrifying place". Are horror movies very much normalized?!? Yes, does it affect your view on life? And if it is a horrible experience, I just don't watch it. Ppl will ALWAYS produce fiction. And ppl who buy into this fiction are ALREADY FANS of it. When you say "normalized", what does that even mean?!? It shouldn't be viewed as normal, but saying it shouldn't be normalized sounds like you're being preachy and grossed out by what ppl like and are policing it.
And these are CONSUMER GOODS. Meaning you can just buy it or don't buy it. You have A CHOICE. It isn't political propaganda. Politics is real. It's not an essay or a work of art you have to read for a grade. Nothing is coerced. Unlike real life rape, in which you have no choice, you have a CHOICE to NOT PICK UP RAPE STORIES TO READ!!!! AND IN FACT, NOT BUY THEM AT ALL. OFC MOST PPL HERE AREN'T EVEN BUYING ANYTHING!!! YET COMPLAIN OVER THE MORALITY OF A STORY. DISGUSTING.
Weird way of saying: I don't like your fantasies, so don't give me your fantasies. They're not. You're taking what is produced. They didn shove it in your face nor sold it to you who didn't want it. Ppl who want it would buy this work. I don't mean buy-in to this work, but purchase the works to pay for the product. Yes, I wouldn't mind an argument if it doesn't sit right with me with ppl just complaining. I mean, you're reading shit for free. This stuff wasn't even made for you anyways.
okay. and again, i must say, you didn't not understand what i was saying. i meant that rape in any form of media and/or reality should not exist. idealistic and foolish ik, but that's what i meant. so to have u go on about consuming what i choose to, having one's own fantasies is meaningless to me. just because no one is buying anything or consuming this for free doesn't mean we cannot comment on it. and "morality"???? rape is rape, it doesn't even fall in any moral standard im sorry, it shouldn't exist neither in fiction nor in reality. just as i am protesting against any form of rape in reality, im going to do the same in fiction. anyway, that's all ig, I'll be muting this now.

If he usually rapes him, wouldnt this be the time to explain that you dont want to have sex. Is this rape to lovers? Thats gross
