Sounds hypocritical from some one who reads reverse harem where all males with weirdazz personality are crazy for fmc . Harem genre targets male readers and reverse for females.

I occasionally read both but the only problem I have with regular harem is that the women he's with have no personality. It's already hard to find a decent reverse harem that isn't the fl straight up taking advantage of all these men. And what's wrong with me not wanting to read harem when the majority of it is just the women looking weirdly young, having the same personalities, and being recycled versions of each other. I'm a woman so what's wrong with me disliking seeing a story written by a man that doesn't respect women and wanting to read something that caters to me instead? There's a reason dont like it as someone who grew up watching anime. Most harem written by men is to fulfill the weird predatory sexual desires of a grown man and not because it has relevance to the plot. Of course there's definitely weird stories by women but that's not the point.

Sorry to make this even longer but that doesn't even really matter because the whole point was that we don't want an action/martial arts story turned into a weird harem with a ton of fan service. Ofc there's already plenty of fan service already with the demon Lord but it's extremely subtle and doesn't interfere with the plot.

reverse harem more often than not still potrays all of the male suitors as humans with life outside of their romantic interest, harem on the other hand, don't. it often neglects character building outside of the romantic interests. if you don't understand this, you're probably part of the most privileged group on human's society, cishet males.
