horus n seth are caught by the mirror.. seth learns about nephyths truth that she is stuck. Mind u he wasnt gonna end it with horus but horus was so scared n insecure rhat seth would leave him that they ended up in a verbal fight which resulted in horus shattering the mirror n seth thinking he lost his prev family forever falls into a fit of insanity n rage and gouges out horus eye. Horus instantly realises that he's done wrong so he doesn't dodge n takes the attack head on. Seth comes to his senses and realising with horror what he did runs away followed by temu Jesus aka Zeus leaving a blinded horus behind. [Mind u things are going acc to actual Egyptian horuseth myth plot]
Next chapter horus is tended by thoth who appears and nurses his injuries. Thoth even gives horus one of his own eye and like gives him the motivational talk u give to your bestie who's just had a fallout with their S.O. thoth urges him to ascend and stop chasing seth like this. Horus considers it. Meanwhile THANKFULLY Zeus leaves for Greece and seth goes to heliopolis
Next chapter horus is seen trying out the moon eye powers. His hair turns white as he gets a peak into future/past ( we dont know) but he sees a crumbling seth whos fading/dying and then he sees something else that absolutely SHAKES HIM like absolutely unsettles him_ makes him cry. [Yk its sum really serious shit n a lot of us think he saw his past as HTE] anyway he decides to leave at once to go to seth and thoth is smiling as he sees him off and says his job is done n rest will be handled by maat as horus flies off. [This is what horus said when he went to chase seth "he has chosen me since a long time ago"
Latest chapter raws. Seth reaches heliopolis nephyths and isis share some heartfelt words. Hathor throws up blood when that mirror shattered and her servant went to look for isis. Bastet was burned badly by osiris who showed up all of a sudden yk and she's currently being nursed by isis. Seth meets up with nephyths and begs her to get back with him. Nephyths is now whole aka both her parts are together and she rejects seth saying she loves him but she can't get with him knowing all the horrific crimes bloodshed n innumerable injustice he had done to humans in egypt n as goddess of peace she cant sleep beside the one who disrupted peace. But she will support n love n stay beside him as his sister and friend. She says seth isnt alone anyway he has that boy (horus). Idk what else they talk but seth finally has a mental breakdown realising how wrong hes done to horus whos been loving him all this time and chosen him despite all thr things hes done like the boy genuinely loves all of seth his good n bad. Seth is trembling and mentally collapsing. We see the moon is slowly being shadowed a sign of eclipse and dark shadow critters slowly surround seth (!!!) Thoth says you've been planning a lot for this haven't u( WE THINK ITS OSIRIS. HE IS MAKING A MOVE THAT ROTTEN CHOPPED GREEN SNOT MIGHT STRIKE NOW THAT SETH IS COMPLETELY VULNERABLE. and the moon eclipse appearing feels really sus cuz what if its a plot to weaken horus who's gotten the moon eye so thst he wont be able to use powers against that osishit if he decides to drag seth to duat? Anyway ahem, the only good thing among all this is.. horus will ascend sooon as king.

Oh my god thank you hahaha. The newest chapter really got me in a chokehold too. This was a very much needed and due closure between seth n nephyths that had to happen. Seth n nephyths were doomed as a couple and their love wasnt real love from the start but it was still a kind of love nevertheless and seth once considered her as his wife and companion. Its really heartbreaking how much he's going thru rn. He felt as if horus didnt love him and was bewitched by the mirror. This came as a huge blow considering how guarded seth is and showing his true self or vulnerabilities and all his sides to horus made him feel devastated so he sought refuge hoping atleast his wife (now pieced together completely) would take him back because what do we do when we feel absolutely wronged n betrayed? We seek comfort in familiarity. He wanted to escape from his heartbreak by wanting the love he had but even there he was rejected by nephyths and not only that she made him realise horus wasn't bewitched- smth seth knew deep down but never chose to believe out of fear n self hatred. The realisation that horus truly did love him despite him being a demoted god, a murderer, a ruthless uncountable crime committing tyrant caused seth to collapse mentally with regret guilt n reality that he'd hurt the ONLY person whos never turned his back to him n accepted him for all he was and even chose to give up everything for seth. By far one of my favourite chapters istg this was so beautifully written
But im sooooooooo scared for the next one. Osiris is scheming. Seth is at his lowest and horus is weakened. The moon is about to be shadowed by eclipse and when theres no light Ra or thoth or horus cant interfere. he's coming stronger than ever and im afraid seth will get snatched

another beautiful analysis! I agree with everything you said once again!!! Maybe next chapter, Osiris will come from Duat and expose himself to be the monster he truly is to everyone. Seth might be seen as a victim and someone worth empathizing with then. Of course, it wont alleviate his crimes, but something is better than nothing.

Pls note whatever im about to say are theories speculated on twt by readers based on actual myth+ hieroglyphics and the way this ennead is going. About their past lives, ennead manhwa mentioned 4 siblings born on 4 days of the week but actual ennead originally had 5 siblings with horus who's the youngest and was born on the last day. Thats the 5 days of a week. The four days variation was a greek propoganda the ruling greek ppl made up but despite this variation becoming popular among Egyptians they always worshipped ennead as 5 siblings. We feel its a deliberate case of deceptive narrative by mojito who deliberately wrote ch1 so that Keen eyed Egyptian mythology nerds would pick up on it. So this sibling Horus is known as Horus The Elder. N according to glyphs hidden in manhwa, a scene is mentioned where apparently Horus the Elder and past life seth had something going on(its mentioned as taboo) which was discovered. Seth kills HTE and isis calls him murderer while nephyths comforts seth. Isis is said to have found a way to bring HTE back and takes him in her womb to give birth to him. But hes completely erased from their memories if not all of them then atleast seth cuz we still dunno if osiris isis neph remember HTE. seth doesnt just like anubis whose acession to godhood was botched n tempered by osiris so theres also this theory rhat osiris mustve had a hand in making seth forget HTE by forcing him to ascend. They also say that HTE death mustve devasted Seth so badly that he wanted to dissappear but was forced to ascend by the rest in an attempt to save seth. We dunno what happened and why it happened but surely its cuz of osirishit. He alrdy has moon eye he just needs the wadjet eye now or ra's eye. Acc to glyphs past HTE stole smth which we feel like might be the divine sovereignty that Ra wanted to pass down to her successor. Some speculated this successor is hathor who was blinded by love n HTE stole it from her [thoth talks abt this in previous chapter if u remember abt how past successor succumbs to emotions n loses Supreme jurisdiction powers.
Back to predictions. In latest raws horus uses moon powers and sees smth which shakes him up n he starts crying saying seth has vhosen him since a long time now. We feel he saw glimpses of his past life cuz he always calls seth uncle never seth directly. Also they got together just recently so what does he mean by "long time" anyway u can ask me more abt HTE/ wadjet powers/ how osiris kept breaking seth theories/ nephyths being used as osiris accomplice or theories regarding what seth mustve gone thru /felt after HTE death(this one is quite a solid theory because if u refer to the chapter where horus talks abt Seth's tears which made him see his soul there are lines written within it "dont want him to forget blablba" there is an inherent fear etched in Seth's soul abt being forgotten by his loved ones which made him indirectly hold back anubis from becoming god but deep down it might be abt his past life else where would such an intense emotion come from? He might have forgotten HTE but in his soul he still feels incomplete is terribly afraid of being forgotten by one who he doesn't even remember himself now. This is really tragic. Seth has always been shown to not hesitate to die for his loved ones which so far we saw was anubis n nephyths but His fierce loyalty couldve also existed before and he might have really planned to perish for HTE. Also present day horus saw visions where seth is actually perishing. He said he didnt wanna forget seth as seth is one of the first Egyptian gods to dissappear completely in future.
