Kay loves Zigril and vice versa. Y'all just need to understand that zigril is not normal that's why he does alot of fcked up shit to kay and the people around him. However, Kay doesn't want to say his feelings out loud. I mean its pretty obv, zigril raped him and even got him pregnant. Kay isn't stupid like most manhwa readers think, bcs his thoughts were never given justice here compared to the novel.

Kay loves Zigril, but in book 1 he had no problem messing around with Zigril, and then leave when he gets bored. Because in kay's past relationships, his exes have always told him that Kay never truly loved them. "If you could marry and have a child with every woman you met then you do not truly love her" -Kay's exes. Kay also doesn't like to be inconvenienced, so when they broke up with him he never fought for the relationship, regardless of what he felt.

This is important because Zigril was the only one who refused to let him go. Another thing about Kay is that he's not weak, bro can fight and if he REALLY wanted out, he could. Zigril is just so strong so anyone next to him would look weak. The point is, Kay is exactly where he wants to be.

From the 2nd novel:
"In truth, the world would be better off without this man, but it was now difficult for him to imagine a world without Zigril, so he had no choice. Seeing himself conjuring up such terrifying words-"I can't live without Zigril"-Kei realized, with a pang of conviction, that he truly loved this man."

The reflection of Kay and Zigril in the mirror of targo:
"In the dimly lit mirror, Jigril and Kay were dimly reflected. Jigril and Kay were reflected in the mirror. Jigril and Kay were walking toward the gate. Jigril was reflected in Kay's place, and Kay was reflected in Jigril's place."

Spoilers too: Kay almost got depressed when Zigril mentioned a divorce. And near the end, when Kay thought Zigril was about to die, he cried and professed his love for zigril. They also have a second child, and the how it happened? Zigril just offered the flower to Kay and Kay took it willingly.

You're telling me that they actually have chemistry and not just zigril head over heels for kay and kay being sacred shitless about zigril

They do!! Unfortunately the manhwa didn't adapt kay's thoughts well enough so it just looks like he's terrified of zigril 24/7. He's pretty funny in the novel, even zigril. Specially when they had a "lovers quarrel"
