it makes me so sad how ppl get shunned for being queer
Honestly same just seeing a realistic bittersweet portrayal makes me so unbelievably sad even if the couple is happy at the end because I know they can be happy with their love and still feel sad at the need to hide it from friends and family
But it reminds us how it is for so many queer people in the world where being gay is not seen as normal or is not accepted. We read a lot of yaoi where everything is always fine and well at the end, but the reality of gay couples sometimes is you can be in a happy relationship and be shunned by society
