No not necessarily. The only time Cheng xiaoshi disappears when going into a photo is when he claps his own hands. When both of there hands clap then Cheng xiaoshi's body is still physically present. It's shown like that in the live action as well.
i've never seen the live action but they don't do it in the animation either do they?
In anime his body disappears as well. Don't remember any time when it didn't. I was so confused when his body stayed after he entered photo in the latest chapter
is this the first time we see cheng xiaoshi physically in the present while he's in someone else's body from the past at the same time? was that an error or am i just reading into it too much?
