It's not necessarily bad per say, but it drags on. It's easier to read through this entire arc once it's complete (I hope). Having to wait for updates does not make this arc better at all.
It's a lot of things that had been brewing behind the scenes and I'll be honest...I don't understand the writing where students get involved in teacher's lives or vice versa. Maybe it's a Japan thing, but where I live, teachers do not involve themselves in a student's life, unless the student is in danger or is misbehaving at school.
The relationship between student and teacher is a bit...fantastical I guess, from my experiences.
Ahhh true, although this is more of an Asian thing I guess? I studied in both western and eastern countries so I can kinda attest, this teacher-student relationship is normal, especially for those in "high-end and low-end schools" I've had a few good relationships with my teachers here in the west but nothing beats how my previous teachers interacted with their students in Asia, it was definitely more personal
