I'm trying to read the sequel but the start is quite confusing, could you tell me what I need to know to read the sequel?

Heyy it's been a while since I read this but from what I remember Jinwoo and the mc artists and they make ceramics. They worked together. Jinwoo likes the mc and they had a sexual relationship. mc started to like someone else and wanted to end their relationship. Jinwoo was jealous and almost tried to SA mc. Colton works at the art gallery and finds out about the assault and he punishes Jinwoo for what he did.

I can't really recall but I think thats their mark for each other ?

Apparently, the mark becomes clear when an alpha and Omega become one. Since this is mostly about alpha and alpha, I'm not sure of the significance for this story though.
