This story is very cute and i still think it's worth reading BUT honestly i wish the author had written the plot better. I get it, it's meant to be a short manga but for 3 volumes this writing is very lacking. I feel like the fact this is an isekai had almost to no change in the plot even though it was a big part of MC's character, the way the story goes doesn't feel connected at all with the novel's story and yeah you can say it's because MC is not an asshole anymore but it wouldn't change the fact in the novel simon made the rebellion not because he cared for the king nor the royal family since he murdered them all. I also don't like the fact Leo got no punishment even though he was in on Simon's plan. Again, I still think this is worth reading but only if you want to see only relationship and no real plot. 7.5/10
Ark knew the whole novel and still didn't do much from start. He was stuck on impressing Julius whole time. You know what, i would have preferred old Ark being reincarnated or going back time kinda thing. Atleast that guy had more personality than the current one

A lot of stories lack the depth needed for reincarnation plot. I mean the person who was inside Ark only acted like some joyous person. Man you are going to be killed. Why are you so relaxed?? â•®(￣▽￣)â•

Omg I just read "The Time a Gangster was Reincarnated as Ranmaru Mori" by your reccommendation and it's SO good!!! I had never heard of that story before and even the real life events it was based on was nice to look up and read after finishing the story, the fact such a long time ago same sex relationships in Japan was common is so surprising to me, specially looking at the way the country is now (very homophobic). It sparked an interest in me to read more about the edo era! Anyway, thanks for the reccs, I'll definitely read the other ones later
