Romance is a big part but it's not the only focus, and the series features other deaf characters and goes into how they are affected in different ways. Overall it's super good I highly reccomend!!!

yes there’s romance in it between the two main character’s in a bit of a gentle sweet but slow humour type of burn and more that I won’t spoil but I can’t recall if there’s more romance between the others characters since I haven’t caught up in awhile
but it’s ‘really’ cute and is getting an official anime next january, with the trailer being out for a good few months at this point
