Since the dog related things are being brought up again, to ease the hearts of reader I bring spoilers from novel.
There was no sex with a dog, it was a half lie create to try and push Chase to fuck before he loses his minds. The insane brother saw chase in a rut losing his mind and there wasn't a person around, that he was like lets go to the next hole. However Chase made it out without the dog by the time Grayson returned, and Grayson lied.
Lied cause pheremone build up is like a really high fever, it can cause memory loss and brain melting issues of personality issues, and more health issues. In the worse case I think it's fatal.
