Are we even reading the same sht?! The royal family of herod may be using her for publicity but they're not evil people. Its mostly the king that wants to control everything to keep their power and keep up with the changing times where a monarchy can be erased because of mistakes, a scandal or a revolution.
Son of a btch Ansen that stole her work, her classmates that treated her badly, the nobles who badmouthed her, the king of polia or something that got ousted, the envious noble btches that trapped her and that seymour bitch they are the evildoers or what you said villains in this story. They're the ones that deserve to be punished.
One thing doesn't preclude the other. The other people you mentioned are villains, but that doesn't mean the royal family isn't bad. ML had to live his whole life as if he were a slave to his parents, the royal couple, and as if only his brother mattered. Remember that MC had to leave the country because of the corrupt government and the nobles who wouldn't allow her to have a decent life with her grandmother and made her lose everything she had achieved just for being a woman. The royal family also didn't give a damn about the quality of life of the people in the empire or women's rights, and they're only going to support MC now that their necks are on the line. In short, what I'm trying to say is, yes, the other villains are worse, but abusive parents are villains in the same way; you can't ignore the mistreatment ML suffers just because of that.
It will all get resolved I feel like the fl is going to have a part in it. (▰˘◡˘▰) The king deserves whats coming to him for making his children suffer abuse and pressure them for their duties. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Call me unreasonable, but I want to see the royal family, except for the child, suffer all the pain in the world. But I know nothing will happen to them, because it never does. Just once, could the authors punish the villains they create just to annoy us?
